A new home for Anester

Another year has come since the last time AJECO Home received a kid in 2015. One month has passed since a friend informed us about a kid named Anester. As part of the organization responsibility was to go for a home visit to observe her environment. Our General Manager who is also a social worker made that possible by visiting Anester’s family and confirmed it was real that she needed help.

The General Manager communicated with Government social workers to meet the government regulations before receiving a new kid at the orphanage. After two weeks Our social worker together with the government social worker prepared Social workers visitation to Anester’s family for the second time to prepare detailed documentation.

Anester is 7 years old and motherless. Her mother died of a stomach swelling disease, her father is nowhere to be found. She was living in a village known as Manzase located in Dodoma region. She was living in a very unconducive environment until her aunt, who had a challenge with her leg, took her to town. Her aunt is sick and has nothing to do. She cannot support Anester's studies

due to limited financial resources.

After getting a field observation report, both social workers assessed her needs that she needed a conducive environment and quality education. On 25th of January 2023 she was brought to her new home that is ALJECO Home. A home where our supporters made it possible is a truly loving family environment. The management initiated a home preschool environment for her before joining primary school with other children.

She is a happy kid with other older children who look out for her with the help of hired mamas and other staff.
