ALJECO basketball court

It is a great delight to see ALJECO HOME reached the completion of a project. Apparently ALJECO kids used to play on the small local playground for a long period of time because that was somehow conducive and they were able to manage at that time. The kids found it the best thing to do in their childhood to explore other children's homes and check out how their playgrounds were set up. Clearly, it was evident on their faces that they wished something like that was available in their compound.

A logical outcome of the discussion was that ALJECO management began to think about what should be done in order to ensure the kids enjoy playing on a conducive playing field. The ALJECO Donor Liaison Director shared this with other board members in the Netherlands to determine how to proceed. His efforts were so successful in securing the donation, and he explained to the donor how the proposed court would benefit the kids and the community as a whole. The basket ball was donated by a generous donor who wanted to give back to the community. He hoped that the court would provide a safe and fun place for children of all ages to come

together and enjoy the game.

This basketball court has made a big difference to ALJECO kids by providing plenty of games to play. It encourages physical activity, teamwork, and competitive spirit. As well as being a versatile game, it can also be played in a variety of ways, including one-on-one, two-on-two, three-on-three, or even on the whole court to see who has the best shot.

It is also worth noting that the basketball court has become a popular spot for children from the community to play basketball. As part of the management's plans, special programs will be prepared for the children of different teams from different children centers and schools, such as competitive sports programs. In doing so,  they will be able to build lasting friendships, develop communication skills, feel a sense of belonging, learn to respect their teammates and coaches, and will be able to achieve higher standards of achievement in general.
